19/365 The Cat's Whiskers
This is Rosie. She is nearly 14 years old and showing her age. I find her very difficult to photograph well as, being black and camera shy, she is hard to focus on and rarely sits still long enough anyway, so this is a rare shot! She was sunbathing for a while in the conservatory between the hail and sleet showers. We have another cat, a white & tabby called Sweetie. I wonder when it'll be her turn to feature in this blog?

What sweet little whiskers! Black animals are so hard to photograph. You did a lovely job with this photo.
ReplyDeleteI love the light on the whiskers -- Great job!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to comment on the whiskers too. A neat profile portrait of her.
ReplyDeleteI love the sunlight on the whiskers - nice catch.
ReplyDeleteMakes me wonder what the cat is thinking...
ReplyDeleteNice profile and I like the crop too.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about black cats being difficult to photograph. My own 16-year old (not in the best of health recently, unfortunately, although he has picked up a little lately) is called Spock and I have so many pictures of him, but not many that capture that cheeky little face.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo of Rosie, btw. I like the way you've silhouetted her.
Lovely photo of Rosie and I like how the light falls on her whiskers!
