291/365 Autumn Colours at Westonbirt

I had a long drive to get there, but it was so worth it - Westonbirt Arboretum in all its autumn glory. Difficult choice this evening, so many images to choose from! Collage necessary.

220/365 Gate

I captured this beautiful gate at the rear of St Werburgh's Church on the way back to Bold Lane Car Park with Jodie this afternoon. The church hasn't been a church for many years but looking at this image, you wouldn't guess this was in Derby's city centre (downtown) right next to a concrete multi-storey car park! I was trying out my 40D :0)

34/365 Snow on the landscape

This is today's view from Kedleston Road across towards the Kedleston Estate, a few hundred metres from where I live, we are lucky to live on the edge of the countryside. I watched a couple of walkers make their way down the curved track while taking a few photos and the sun peeked out from behind a cloud briefly high-lighting the hillside above.
