285/365 Orange gerbera

Gerberas are a favourite of mine, and when I saw some outside the florist near school, I had to get some. Beautiful flowers, very photogenic.

270/365 He loves me... he loves me not...

When I re-arranged the flowers from 265/365 some petals fell and took me straight back to seemingly endless long hot summers of childhood when I remember sitting with my best friend pulling petals off a daisy, he loves me, he loves me not...

So that was the inspiration for today's blog shot.

86/365 Rose

This is one of Jodie's roses. I love the graduation of colour and the texture on the petals, they are coming to the end. I had hoped for something unusual for Mother's Day last Sunday, but Jodie chose pink spray carnations for me and these for herself. Instead of dropping hints, next time I'll just spell it out!

I love the first daffodils of spring. Today's choice was very hard, so there's a small daff gallery on the Picasa page, worth a look. However, I had to post 'Daff Cat' ;0)
