345/365 Mother love

There is nothing more precious in this world than a baby, and no love as strong as the love felt by a mother for her child. I was honoured to be able to shoot S & baby L today, such an emotional time, as we have both lost precious babies, and we'll never forget them. (See 96/365)

3/365 Mum

This is my Mum. We had a little family gathering at her house today, my eldest brother brought his wife and their three daughters to see Mum and we met them there. I almost posted a group shot from this afternoon (album of today's visit in my Picasa page, see link right) but what struck me about this picture is my mother's hands. Her face is slightly out of focus as she moved right as I pressed the shutter, but her hands are sharp. Mum is 78 and seems much better this last 6 months, (long story), but I am acutely aware that she will not always be here. I will remember them always.
