360/365 Christmas shadows

We had some winter sunshine today, it streamed in through the conservatory and fell upon our Christmas tree. I realise there are quite a few images on this blog featuring shadows... well, as has been said before, its all about the light, and shadows can be fascinating.

The sun cast shadows of the soap dispenser and the washing-up liquid bottle across new drawers and worktop... I make no apologies for featuring my new kitchen more than once - I've waited a long time for it, and I love it!

281/365 Lilac landing

My stairs and landing are painted lilac ( see 13/365 ) and the stairwell is often beautifully lit. Today the autumn sun shone and I captured the light and shadows of lilac; enhanced in PS.

I was struck by the shapes of the shadows cast in the Ladies Loo at the pub today. My lunch companion may have wondered if I was employing delay tactics to get the bill paid! But no, I was taking half a dozen potential blog shots (bog shots??) ;0)
